From 1978 to 2014, faculty members of Capital University of Economics and Business  has published  3,583 pieces of monographs, compiled books, teaching materials and translations, including 901  monographs , 1,162 translations,479 teaching materials . Among which some has won national outstanding achievement award. Some were rated as national planning materials, Beijing quality materials, and widely circulated. The research achievements has earned CUEB a good social reputation.

During the "Twelfth Five Year Plan", the staff of CUEB has totally issued 4,700 papers, among which 1,673 papers has been published on national core journals and 351 papers on national authoritative journals，accounting for 43.94% in total. Besides，35 papers has been published on high level international journals,93 papers can be retrieved by SCI,24 by SSCI,1 by A & HCI. The citations of CUEB staffs’ papers are also increasing year by year.
